How does Fishwego make money?
Fishwego uses an all-inclusive pricing model that combines the camp's per-person rate, upgrade charges, and pricing for extras like guide services and live bait packages, then we add all applicable taxes and fees, including a 10 percent service fee to cover Fishwego's booking and payment processing costs. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges at checkout. Guests know exactly what they are paying the instant they add a new item to their trip itinerary. Best of all, camp owners can use our powerful Camp Manager app to compute the optimal price of every item - down to the penny - to help maximize revenue and make the guest experience better. The app even allows you to choose between a per-person weekly rate or a la carte pricing.

Who are you guys?
Fishwego was founded by two brothers who have fished at various Canadian fishing camps since 1988. The Fishwego platform came together after years of brainstorming and feedback from camp owners on how to make the search, camp discovery and booking experience better for everyone. We realized immediately that the fishing camp business is unique, and therefore Fishwego must first be convenient for camp owners before it can offer convenience to guests.
What if I don't have time to set all this up?
You don't have to! Fishwego's team handles all the setup for you, for free. We map your camp, note cabin configurations and capacity, and list everything from beds, to boats to bait. We then hand you a pre-loaded Camp Manager app that gives you total control. You can change per-person pricing in just a few taps, add a new trolling motor upgrade, block out cabins for special guests, and so much more. You can even grant staff members access to specific Camp Manager tools on their phone.
How long does the onboarding process take?
From start to finish, our team will get your camp completely integrated with Fishwego's platform in just a few days, and then we'll schedule a convenient time to train you or your team on how to take advantage of Fishwego's powerful Camp Manager app. We just need to get a little information from you before we start, and we handle the rest.
Most of our bookings come over the phone, can I still use Fishwego?
Yes. Anyone with access to the Camp Manager App can take the order over the phone, and process it instantly (even on the same phone!) with the app, in just a few taps. Need to give your second cousin and his family a discount when they visit in August? No problem. It's your camp, and we give you the flexibility to waive unnecessary fees for family members and special guests, while still tracking occupancy and camp resource availability through Fishwego.
My camp has no internet access. Can Fishwego still work?
Of course! We have several technology options that enable Fishwego to work anywhere in the world. Contact us and we can find the right solution for your situation.
