For Guests
1. Discover
Search and compare fishing camps by travel date, occupancy needs, bed configurations, meal plans, and more. Each camp profile shows real time availability and, best of all, Fishwego enables instant online booking at any of our partner camps.
2. Build Your Trip
Pick your dates, your cabin or cabins, the boats you need, your meal plan, and any extras. Our trip builder shows you the all-in total in real time. The price you see is the price you pay. There are no surprise fees, taxes, or surcharges added at checkout.
If you are traveling with a group, the trip builder supports group bookings out of the box. Anyone can be the trip organizer; group members can be added so they can see the trip, contribute payments, and stay in the loop.
3. Reserve
When you are ready, place a deposit. The deposit confirms your booking and holds your inventory at the camp. The exact deposit amount and refund terms are set by each camp and shown clearly before you pay.
4. Pay Your Way
You can pay everything yourself, or split the trip among the people in your group. Each person on a split-pay booking gets their own secure payment link and only ever sees and pays for their share.
We will collect the balance from your saved payment method as the trip approaches, so nobody has to scramble for last-minute payments. You can also choose a monthly or quarterly installment plan if the camp offers that option.
5. Go Fishing
We send you a complete trip summary, the camp's check-in instructions, any documents you need (waivers, passports, etc.), and a way to message the camp directly if you have questions.
When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a camp owner who wants to make sure you and your group have an incredible fishing experience, not a corporate desk thousands of miles away.
For Camp Owners
Fishwego was built for fishing camps. Not boutique hotels with fishing on the side. Not Airbnb-style cabin rentals. Real, independent, multi-cabin fishing camps with boats, guides, and meal plans.
If you run one, Fishwego lets you:
- list your full inventory (cabins, boats, meal plans, extras),
- accept bookings, deposits, and balance payments,
- get paid through Stripe directly to your bank account,
- communicate with guests before they arrive, and
- spend less time on the phone and managing emails answering the same questions over and over.
Fishwego adds a small platform fee - up front and in real-time, so that guests know exactly what they are paying without any surprises. There are no setup fees. No monthly subscription. No hassles.

Fishwego is operated by Burgess Outdoor Adventures, LLC, based in Peoria, Illinois. We built Fishwego because we fell in love with the Canadian fishing camp experience but were frustrated by how hard it is to book a trip.
Our goal is simple: make booking a real Canadian fishing trip - cabins, boats, meals and all - as easy as booking a hotel — while keeping that experience as direct and personal as it has always been.
